SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG relies on goTom for advertising operations
With SMG Swiss Marketplace Group AG (SMG for short), another large Swiss publisher is starting with goTom’s software. The cloud solution supports the marketing unit in the processing and billing of digital advertising campaigns. SMG already cooperates closely with Goldbach Audience and Ringier Advertising, which also rely on goTom’s platform.
SMG’s portfolio includes various classified websites such as AutoScout24, Homegate, ImmoScout24, Ricardo, tutti.ch and anibis.ch. Following the merger last year and the establishment of the SMG joint venture in the area of digital marketplaces, the advertising division was also reorganized to offer targeted advertising on the most popular Swiss online marketplaces. Since the end of 2021, the various platforms have been marketed from a single source.
For this purpose, the company is relying on goTom’s SaaS solution starting this fall. The software optimizes the commercial processes in handling advertising campaigns with extensive interfaces to the ad server and the ERP system. In addition to the planning and invoicing of direct campaigns, this also includes the management of programmatic deals.
goTom is a logical and optimal solution for us. The software supports our processes and daily business in advertising operations excellently and we are looking forward to the upcoming launch after a quick implementation phase.
